i get upset when people draw marowak without its lower jaw because thats kind of an important differentiation from cubone

im always super confused about the early sugimori art and how it manages to look that way

and people can mimic the style

also i used to give the cubone a visible lower jaw but not even that matters any more

sometimes i look at my cubone character and it doesnt even matter that its a cubone anymore

here are the reasons why

• doesnt even carry a bone
• parents are alive
• i never draw eye holes just eyes
• pretty much never sad
• gained a more anthropomorphic stature
• no ‘claws’ on feet or thumbs

ive been freaking drawing cubone for two years now as my avatar in comics and drawings and i wonder if one day it wont even be cubone any more itll just be me
